Classic Chocolate Brownies

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
