Fresh Dill Pickles



Bring the following ingredients to a brief boil.

  • 4.5 cups white vinegar

  • 1.5 cups water

  • 6 T sugar

  • 2 T kosher salt

  • 1 t coriander seeds

  • 1 t fennel seeds

  • 1 t mustard seeds


Once sugar and salt dissolves, add:

  • 12-16 kirby cucumbers

  • 3 sliced fresh jalapenos

  • 1-2 T chopped garlic

  • 12-16 sprigs fresh dill (3 2oz. packs)


  1. Arrange into gallon jar

  2. Pour in liquid

  3. Sit at least 48 hours (chilled)
